On June 8, a conference of the leading mid-sized corporations organized by the President of the Small and Medium Business Administration was held at the Palace Hotel in Seoul. Mid-sized corporations with annual sales revenues of more than 1 Trillion Won wre invited. CEOs and executives of 12 corporations including Seoyon E-Hwa CEO Kim, Keun Sik, along with Small and Medium Business Administration President Joo, Yeong-seop, and Association of High Potential Enterprises of Korea(AHPEK) Chairman Kang, Ho-gap participated in the conference.

The conference was held to reflect the proposals of the leading mid-sized corporations onto the policies of the Administration. The participating corporations expressed support of the Administration in areas including globalization, securing of competent personnel and R&D, etc. In particular, CEO Kim, Keun Sik emphasized the importance of the overseas businesses and requested establishment of unsparing support policies in the area of import and export, including provision of local overseas information, expansion of FTA related education, and prompt custom clearance in accordance with Korea-China FTA, etc.

President Joo, Yeong-seop responded to the request that the Administration will focus on mid-sized corporations, and establishment of dedicated R&D and overseas marketing projects.
