On November 18, our company was selected for the recipient of the Award by the Minister of Employment and Labor at the ‘Social Contribution Awards, 2015 – Cooperation for Shared Growth Division’ organized by the Chosun Biz, an economic medium of the Chosun Media Group, and sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Ministry of Health and Welfare. This award is granted to the company that fulfills its social responsibilities through a diverse range of social contribution activities. We were able to receive this award due to our wide range of voluntary service and sponsorship activities for shared growth.

 

Our company has mainly implemented social contribution activities for the local residents of Ulsan and Asan where our factories are located, and expanded to various areas in Seoul as we expanded the headquarters in
2011. We are also a regular sponsor to the Ulsan University, and provide funds by establishing the Seoyeon Academic Award at the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers in our efforts to nurture future leaders in the industry.

 

Moreover, we are implementing a diverse range of activities including donation of books to reformatory facilities and monthly participation in the Baffor voluntary activities in Seoul and Ulsan.

 

Moreover, we joined ‘Industrial Innovation Campaign’ that commenced in September 2014 and contributed the project fund of 100 million Won, which was distributed to 5 cooperative companies including Deokjin, Dongwon Industry, JJK, Hanil Industry Asan and Hanjin PL for the consultation and purchasing of facilities to improve their productivity. Furthermore, we have allocated and are operating 1 Billion Won as the ‘Fund for cooperation for shared growth’ to offer financial support by loaning funds at a low interest rate to cooperative companies with financial difficulties.

 

As illustrated above, Hanil E-Hwa Co recognizes that the automobile industry is an industry for which the shared gorwth with the cooperative companies and the community is very important, and is making contributions towards the advancement of the automobile industry of Korea by executing social responsibilities including a diverse range of voluntary service activities, competent personnel cultivation projects and policies for accompanied growth, etc.
