Seoyon E-Hwa participated in the '49th National Quality Circle Competition' held at the Suncheon Bay Eco-Cultural Education Center from August 28th to September 1st and won the prestigious President's Award, both Gold and Silver. Since their first participation in 1997, Seoyon E-Hwa has continuously won the President's Award, solidifying its position as a leading company in quality improvement activities within the automotive interior and exterior parts manufacturing industry.
The 49th National Quality Circle Competition, under the theme of 'Leading Korea's Future 100 Years with Quality Innovation,' was an event where 273 quality circles from 188 public and private enterprises nationwide gathered to share results and knowledge, and compete. This year, Seoyon E-Hwa won the President's Gold and Silver Awards with creative and innovative themes such as 'Development of an Environmental Operation Durability BSR Test Method for Reducing Door Trim Noise' by the R&D department's Scient Circle and 'Reduction of Defective Product Rate through Process Improvement of Automotive Battery Cell Carriers' by the BTS+ Creation Circle in the Cooperative Growth sector.
Representatives from the Ulsan Labor Union, including Chairman Lee Young-seok, the office manager, delegate representatives, and organizational directors, attended the competition and provided generous encouragement and applause to the participating teams.
A Seoyon E-Hwa official stated, "We will continue to actively discover and support voluntary small-scale innovative activities in conjunction with our in-house E-novation idea contest, contributing to problem-solving at the manufacturing site and improving product quality."
