Prize news Seoyon E-Hwa & PLANA iF Design Award Joint Submission, Winner of 2023 iF Design Award

Seoyon E-Hwa, a specialist in automotive interior and exterior parts manufacturing, and PLANA, a domestic hybrid AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) aircraft developer, have entered into a business agreement for advanced aviation mobility development. Both companies jointly submitted their design for the iF Design Award and were honored with the prestigious iF Design Award in the Professional Concept category on April 17, 2023.
The iF Design Award, held annually in Germany, is one of the world's top three design awards, along with the Red Dot Design Award and IDEA. With over 11,000 entries from around the world, the competition was fierce.
The AAM aircraft design was recognized for its outstanding focus on passenger comfort, safety, and convenience. Seoyon E-Hwa applied cutting-edge technologies and materials, incorporating independent air conditioning seats, sliding and folding displays, natural materials, infrared warmers, and 3D pattern lighting, creating a passenger-centric space.
Seoyon E-Hwa will take a proactive role in leading the design and advanced development of the interior, pledging to continue research and development to become a leading player in the aviation mobility industry.
